Role: Test Engineer (Medical Devices)

Rate: $ 50/hr c2c
Notes 1: Must possess a BSEE, BSME, BS Math orsimilar
Notes 2: This is *not* a Labview Developer
*Design**, Debug and Test experience in Commercial electronics or Medical
Devices. Develop and Test products involving electronic
application/components into products/features for electro-mechanical
devices including small circuits, power, fluid and/or small motors and
controllers.*
- *Design** and implement Test systems for medical equipment electronic
products *
- *In circuit test (ICT) and functional test (FCT) for electronic
control units, sensors and features *
- *Traceability, de-bug, troubleshooting, and documentation*
ยท *Schematic analysis with ECAD software*
- *Utilize measurement systems such NI LabView software *
- *Work closely with System and Manufacturing engineering in support of
DFM*
- *Develop and update project documentation in accordance with FDA
requirements and internal procedures to ensure project and test information
is properly organized and archived.*
- *Knowledge of UL, FDA standards*
- *Experience interfacing with end-clients*
- *BSEE or MSEE is a MUST*
Job Description:
Allstates Consulting Services is seeking a *Test Engineer* to assist our
client in Huntsville, Alabama. This is an onsite role performing a full
range of electro-mechanical (E/M) functional testing including temperature,
RF, light, vacuum/pressure, flow and serial communications and systems
level functional tests. The right person will possess commercial
electronics test experience.
*Scope:*
- Writing test procedure based on functionality from customer features
and test specifications
- Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug testers and test procedures
for commercial products.
- Develop hardware and software test solutions used to test PBCA level
and systems level functional tests.
*Experience:*
- BSEE degree required
- Commercial electronics industry experience
- Test design, debug and testing, as well as, electronic interconnects
and assembly processes
- Solid ICT experience
- C/C++ and/or Visual Basic (VB), C#
- Labview and/or TestStand hands-on experience (3-5 years)
- Excellent organization skills
- High degree of professionalism
Ability to form and maintain professional, cooperative relationships with
both internal and external customers, peers and colleagues
