*Title: BPM Developer with Data Integration*
*Location: Cincinnati OH*
*Business Unit Summary*
The Digital Integration and API Team develops, designs, maintains, and
participates in the support of integration assets for the client. This team
drives the design and development of internal and external vendor systems
integration, collaborating closely with business, development, and
operations staff to design application integration and implementation
strategies.
*A Day in the Life*
- Build new and maintain existing integration solutions.
- Follow internal development standards and release management processes.
- Create technical and business user documents for integration
solutions, including development and support related documentation.
- Analyze and prescribe solutions to issues impacting performance and/or
availability within integration and commerce-facing applications.
- Participate in all aspects of the software lifecycle (analyze, design,
test, implement, and support).
- Timely delivery of enhancements and fixes to meet ever changing
business requirements.
- Optimize solutions for performance and continuous (24x7) operation
- Provide on-call (24x7) support in a rotating schedule.
- Actively work with key business stakeholders from project inception to
implementation, and support to ensure smooth integration of solutions.
*Must Haves*
· Minimum of 3 years of Relational Database Management (RDBM)
experience.
· Knowledge and understanding of Relational Database Management
Systems (RDBMS).
· Experience with query tuning (indexing, query plans, normalized
data models).
· A Business Analyst skill set to gather, define, and clarify
requirements with the business, as well as review solution options.
· Experience with managing tasks and timelines.
· Self-driven and efficient time management skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Good troubleshooting abilities.
· Collaborative skills to work in a team environment.
· Solid grasp of MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and
Word.
· Collaborative development experience using revision control
software.
- Experience with WebSphere Process Server/Business Process Manager,
TIBCO, webMethods, or other Integration Solution/BPM.
- Exposure to a Development IDE, such as Rational or Eclipse.
- MS Visio, ERWin, or other data modeling application experience.
*Nice to Haves*
· Retail or direct consumer systems experience and proficiency.
· IBM DB2 LUW or Oracle experience.
· Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
· Familiarity with working with off-shore teams.
· Familiarity with Java.
· Exposure to Unix/Linux.
· Unix/Linux shell programming.
