*Endur Technical Consultant*
*Location: Houston, TX*
*Duration: 6 Months+*
This position requires analysis, custom code development, and
troubleshooting in the design, configuration, testing, and production
support of the OpenLink Endur solution for the client’s business needs.
*Qualified candidates must have:*
· Minimum 3-5 years of .Net, C#
· PowerBuilder
· C++ and/or Java SE development life-cycle experience
· Proven track record of designing, coding, and delivering applications
at client sites
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
• Provide analysis, custom code development, and troubleshooting in the
design, configuration, testing, and production support of the OpenLink
solution for the client’s business needs
• Maintain full chargeability on a client account as assigned
• Demonstrate strong OpenLink Endur solution reporting and scripting
development skills
• Gain proficiency in one or more business areas
• Adhere to implementation best practices in one or more technical
development areas of the OpenLink solution in all technical design,
specifications, custom coding, and testing deliverables
• Gather and document technical requirements, code specifications, test
plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as
determined by the Project Manager and Lead Technical Consultant
• Assume hands-on project implementation duties (design, coding,
testing) in all phases of the OpenLink solution implementation,
reporting to the Project Manager
• Keep the Project Manager informed regarding the status of assigned
responsibilities
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of .Net, C#, C++ and/or Java SE development
life-cycle experience, and a proven track record of designing, coding,
and delivering applications at client sites
• Minimum 2-3 years of technology development experience at a
software/consulting company
• Preferably a minimum 1-2 years of experience with SolArc RightAngle
and/or Endur
• Experience with Object Oriented design and analysis tools/processes &
design patterns
• Experience with relational databases & SQL (Oracle or SQL server)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a
related field
• Preferably have industry knowledge of commodities such as Crude Oil,
Refined Products, Power, Natural Gas, NGL’s and/or Coal
• Self-starter with strong client-facing skills, as well as excellent
written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work as part of a project team structure
