Senior Teradata ETL experience required, along with Team Lead/ETL Lead and Informatica experience. Customer would like to expand the Teradata enterprise to integrate with Hadoop, so Cloudera or Hortonworks experience desired. Other desired experience includes: working in the government or federal space, healthcare/HHS, fraud detection/prevention. Requires excellent communication skills in a virtual support environment, and ability to pick up diverse subject matter expertise quickly. Below is the job roles and responsibilities: · Serves as the Production Support Technical Leader. · Reviews new data warehouse technology and solutions in order to improve the data warehouse. · Consults with government customer and other Leads concerning Teradata and other related Data Warehouse best practices and procedures. · Supports the architecture of the production data warehouse platform. · Acts as a consultant to the Team for solution and support in resolving issues. · Consults and collaborates with other vendors on initiatives to ensure appropriate modeling, ETL and general data warehousing concepts. · Represents prime contractor in front of government customer for technical issues while keeping leadership informed throughout. · Works with the ETL Lead and Task Order Manager to analyze new ETL work and assist in assigning resources and prioritization of that work. · Contributes to and promotes enforcement of the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) to ensure quality transitions of ETL streams the production support team. · Contributes to ETL Standards and Processes to ensure understanding and compliance. · Supports the ETL Team to resolve open Trouble Tickets, Change Requests or General Technical Issues. · Assesses the data warehouse looking for improvements to current ETL processes and architecture providing recommendations that could benefit the data warehouse in terms of ETL, end user reporting · Mentors/coaches ETL Developers, Testers, and Team members of the data warehouse O&M and Data Quality Team. · Consults with the DBA Team when database issues arise which impact ETL streams/processes to drive resolution. · Gather and provide information as input to estimates for Level of Effort documents for CRs and additional scope requests.
