*Position: Performance Test Engineer*

*Location: Washington, DC*

*Labor Category Description / Position*



·        Extensive experience with Load Runner

·        Extensive experience working with Web and Web Services Citrix
(desired) protocols

·        C development experience required

·        Experience HTTP/FTP HTML (ICA / RTE desired) protocols

·        DB experience required

·        Analyze and report performance bottlenecks

·        Help troubleshot performance issues

·        Design and implement scripts based on customer requirements

·        Conduct reviews, approves and/or coordinates test strategies, test
schedules and test cases/scripts to ensure risks have been identified.

·        Analyzes load progress and results and recommends actions to avoid
potential production application outages by providing mitigation and
remediation strategies

He/she also has the responsibility to manage the communications to other
team members since his/her actions may directly impact the results of their
work.

Load Runner, SiteScope, Performance Center, Wireshark

*Requirements*



·        HP LoadRunner/Performance Center – All components

·        HP Quality Center

·        MS Project

·        MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

·        C# .Net

·        C/C++



*Preferred*



·        Expert in C/C++. Minimum five years’ experience (Loadrunner uses
C/C++/C# as its scripting language.)

·        Skilled in the following testing toolsets:  HP Suite (UFT-Service
Test)

·        Knowledgeable in Automated Testing, and Problem Management
methodologies

·        Strong understanding of basic SQL queries and GUI design
standards, especially as they relate to test automation object recognition

·        Proficiency with programming and/or scripting and in depth
understanding of object oriented design.

·        Skills in research, analysis, solution validation, and
implementation.

·        Ability to quickly adapt to new environments.

·        Demonstrated aptitude to learn complex technical aspects of a
software application.

·        Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills.

·        Self-directed with a high degree of initiative, ability to perform
with minimal oversight and the ability to understand complex applications.

·        Ability to work cooperatively in a group environment to achieve
common goals; ability to build and maintain effective working relationships;

·        Excellent communication skills (written, reading comprehension,
listening, verbal) required.

·        Excellent organizational skills.
