*Title* *: ATG developer* *Location :* *Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration: 6 months + contract * *phone/Skype/in-person* * Desired skills and Experience:* . 6- 12 years of IT experience of which at least 5 years in ATG e-Commerce Platform. . Hands on working experience in ATG Dynamo framework, ATG Servlet Bean, repositories, form handlers, extending ATG profile, scenarios and personalization framework, dynamo messaging system and transaction management. . In depth understanding of commerce features like Catalog organization, pricing and promotions, cart, purchase process and order processing pipelines . Excellent programming skills using Java/J2EE, XML/JSON, XSL, JMS, RESTful web services. . Excellent debugging and analytical skills with experience analyzing thread dumps and heap dumps to identify root cause of issues. . Understands RDBMS concepts and is familiar with basic tuning concepts on oracle database. . Exposure to Linux/Unix shell scripting, source code control (GIT), configuring and deploying applications on JBOSS is a plus. . A good team player and enjoys working in a global and dynamic environment. *Key responsibilities include:* . Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality); performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues and engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; developing solutions, driving the development of an action plan, performing actions as designated in the action plan; and completing online documentation. . Analyze production incidents and analyze logs and alerts for repeating patterns and suggest fixes to address the root cause. Build tools and monitors to proactively monitor/alert production applications. . Provides support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); researching and identifying needed solutions; and directing users to appropriate contacts for issues outside of own domain. . Provides and supports the implementation of defect fixes and business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. .
