*Job Title: SQL BI Developer * *Location: Itasca, Illinois* *No. of Positions: 4* *Note: GC or Citizens only* *Job Description * The Application Developer is part of an integral implementation team and provides the opportunity for personal and professional growth through collaboration and knowledge sharing with other team members, architects and product teams. The successful candidate must be technically proficient in all phases in the different data integration tools and process. The candidate must be hands on. The candidate, while focused on integrating client’s data into the structures, must also be knowledgeable about data integration architecture, audit balance and control restart ability and other aspects of data integration. A strength is the ability to work with business users, internal and external, to understand requirements and create solutions. The candidate must be one that thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. *Responsibilities:* - Creates clear run documentation to support and transition new processes to the Operation team - Handle multiple implementations simultaneously - Follow established company and department standards and best practices - Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies - Work independently and within the team structure - Effectively communicate (verbal and written) with users, management and coworkers - Reports on status directly to Manager of Data Integration, and indirectly to the Project Manager - Provide estimates for assigned tasks - Other duties as defined by Management *Required Skills * - Expertise in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) between similar and dissimilar systems using SQL Programming, capable of source transformation from/to flat files, XML and relational system structures. - Experience with object oriented software engineering in an enterprise environment using the MS Visual Studio suite of tools - Proven analytical skills interpreting and implementing business and functional requirements - Experience with business intelligence and analytics - Experience with Windows Powershell scripting - Excellent verbal and written communications skills across all organizational levels required - Demonstrated experience utilizing SDLC methodologies, including waterfall/agile - Experience with MS Team Foundation Server a plus. *Education:* - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent - Certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is a plus - Local candidates strongly preferred and considered first. - Healthcare industry experience.
