The core technology being used is Java, Spring, Hibernate, Tiles, Oracle, and Tomcat. Requires a strong technical background as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities: · Develop and test business applications using the following technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Oracle, Tomcat, Tiles, Maven, Subversion, Artifactory, JSP, JQuery, Jenkins, Alfresco, OpenOffice, and Enterprise Architect. · Develop applications using continuous integration and test-driven development practices. · Produce Javadoc and other technical documentation as required. · Follow and promote best practices and current application design and development standards. · Take initiative to research and learn new technologies. · Work as a team member on a project team, understanding how a team operates and what is expected of the various roles on the project · Work with business customers to gather requirements and document use cases in Enterprise Architect as well as coordinate user acceptance testing (one position only) · Develop common technical services used across all business applications (one position only) Qualifications: · Expert knowledge of Java and object-oriented design. · Expert knowledge of relational databases, Oracle preferred. · Expert knowledge of JSP’s. · Expert knowledge of OpenOffice · Strong knowledge of State of Wisconsin infrastructure · Strong technical knowledge of WAMS (Wisconsin Access Management System) · Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework, mostly Spring MVC, but also Security, WebFlow, and Batch · Strong knowledge of Hibernate · Strong knowledge of Eclipse · Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills · Ability to lead and provide direction to others.
