Job Title – Teradata Developer Location - Seattle, Washington Duration - 12 - 18 Months (Possible Extension) Rate - DOE *Locals Required / F2F Required* *Job Description -* Strong expertise on Teradata Strong expertise on all Teradata utilities - TPUMP, MLOAD, BTEQ, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT. Must have : Strong expertise on Teradata Parallel Transporter. Strong in data modeling (Normalization, Star Schema). Teradata data modeler. Nice to have : Strong in data architecture (Data Warehousing, ODS, Data Marts, Staging) Good hands-on experience on performance tuning and space reclamation. Working knowledge as a Teradata application architect. Design, creating and physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models. Maintain the referential integrity of the database. Strong Data Analysis and Architect skills Knowledge of Unix shell scripts, JCL and other scripting languages Knowledge on BI and DW interface Nice to have Good knowledge on ETL and one or more of the ETL tools. Knowledge is Wherscape Red is good to have. Knowledge on service oriented architecture concepts. Teradata administration and use of admin tools.
