Job Title: DevOps Integration Engineer Location: Virginia Need US citizen on w2/1099 Rate- $65/Hr Job Description: DevOps Integration Engineer to help our Federal Agencies achieve business objectives through the development and execution of pragmatic and innovative technology solutions. This is an opportunity to guide our clients as they investigate and leverage cloud, mobile, social and open source applications and solutions. A DevOps Integration Engineer understands the entire infrastructure stack from the components that make up the network up through the operating systems and solutions that reside on the network. A successful Engineer is well versed with converged infrastructure that blends networking, server hardware and virtualization, storage, and “Software as a Service” (SaaS). They will have familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware/COTS software and familiarity with multiple OS environments and have an understanding of operations in private and public cloud infrastructures. DevOps Integration Engineers will design and deliver cost effective infrastructure solutions meeting the business performance requirements and assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations. Duties include: • Complete thorough assessment of current Puppet efforts in a federal agency to include best practices review of current puppet practices and operations, and provide recommendation as to future Puppet module development. • Develop gap analysis and roadmap for comprehensive Puppet operations in the agency. • Assist in maintaining the most current production copies of software, code and documentation in the appropriate systems. This includes, but is not exclusive to, loading and retrieving items as well as providing CM build support.
