Role: Data/Business Analyst
Location: Wilmington, DE.

Duration: long term

Responsibilities:


• Leverage SQL to retrieve and organize data from our data warehouse
• Analyze data with excel and various BI Tools (e.g. SQL Server Reporting 
Services, 
Qlikview, Pivot Tables)
• Present findings and metrics in a clear, concise manner to management 
stakeholders
• Automate and consolidate reporting processes across the organization
• Partner with the business management and project delivery offices to clearly 
define and translate business requirements for metrics reporting and data needs
• Compile senior management presentations on a weekly/monthly/ad-hoc basis
• Assist in designing and executing on the annual budgeting and demand 
management 
processes
• Partner with the finance and business management counterparts to accurately 
report on the financial health of the book of work
• Collaborate with partners on report standardization, process changes, and 
enhancements
• Ability to operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment and must 
possess the strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with 
colleagues at various levels of the organization
• Detail oriented individual coupled with the ability to show initiative, good 
judgment, and resourcefulness
• Must possess the ability to work and research/resolve issues independently 
while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues
• Able to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the 
flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business questions and needs


RequiredSkills: 


• Minimum 3 - 5 years of analytical experience 
• Minimum 3 - 5 years business experience 
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a data query language (SSRS, SQL); SQL is 
a must
• Minimum 3+ years' experience with SharePoint (creating feeds into data 
warehouses, 
permissioning, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with all Microsoft Office including: Excel (inclusive 
of producing pivot tables), Access, Power Point, Word
• Experience with Business Objects, Cognos, or any other reporting tools is 
a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively 
• Strong time management and or multitasking ability
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to take on new responsibilities when asked

 

PreferredSkills:


• Understanding of the budgeting process, accounting, and the SDLC processes 
are a plus
