Job Title: Workload Automation Expert/Architect at Atlanta, GA. Workload Automation Expert/Architect: Job Desk: Workload Automation Expert/Architect Contractors Needed: 2 The person must be willing to be on-site at American Family Insurance NHQ campus during normal business hours Monday through Friday. The person will also be able to be part of the on-call support rotation (outside of the normal business hours) every 7 weeks on average. Hours spent working on calls and issues will be paid as straight time. The person is not paid for just carrying the pager. Workload Automation Expert/Architect: Application Workload Automation technologists: architects, and delivers business service orchestrations (workload automation) across the enterprise. The person must be able to develop roles-oriented authentication and access of application processing solutions to ensure a secure and reliable environment. Must be able to analyze production work flows, makes recommendations to improve performance, able to make recommendations quickly especially during production outages, provide workload automaton forecasts and capacity of processing window. This person will lead projects of all sizes, such as new software release testing, analyzing new platforms and/or tools, or implementations of large workload management projects on any platform (especially Linux, Unix, Windows and Z/OS in physical and virtual environments with an understanding of Oracle). This position involves interfacing with customers to determine and implement departmental solutions for corporate projects and initiatives of high complexity. Primary tools are CA11, CA7 and CA AE (AutoSys). The job streams can be very complex with a number of crossovers between open systems and the mainframe. ***This is not an operations automation position Required Skills: 1. Expert level application Workload Automation experience, strong experience as an architect, delivering business service orchestrations (workload automation) across the enterprise. 1. Strong ability to develop roles-oriented authentication and access of application processing solutions to ensure a secure and reliable environment. (note: this is NOT an Active Directory type position or an I/S Security position) 1. Strong ability to analyze production work flows, make recommendations on how to improve performance, ability to make recommendations quickly especially during production outages, provide workload automaton forecasts and capacity of processing window. 1. Strong leadership/Project management experience and abilities. This person will lead projects of all sizes, such as new software release testing, analyzing new platforms and/or tools, or implementations of large workload management projects on any platform (especially Linux, Unix, Windows and Z/OS in physical and virtual environments with an understanding of Oracle). 5. Strong teaming and customer interaction skills - with the ability to determine and implement departmental solutions for corporate projects and initiatives of high complexity. Primary tools: 1.
