Troubleshoots debugs and implements software code. Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Work with the project technical BSA for developing a prototype of the new Price & Weights Management System to validate requirements and design, with specific focus on user interface implementation based on established company standards Experience with developing software using the following technologies: Ø .NET with C# Ø ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> MVC 4 or 5 Ø Entity Framework 4, 5, or 6 (prefer EF6 with code-first implementation, Fluent API) Ø Either MS Test Manager or nUnit Ø Source code management using an enterprise scale tool like TFS, Rational Team Concert, or Git. *Must have the following features: * Ø May require a bachelor's degree in a related area Ø At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area Ø Fully automated build and deploy Ø Enterprise event logging integration Ø Fully documented code base Ø Pattern-driven development Ø Experience working in an Agile development environment (Extreme Programming a plus) Ø Demonstrated ability to translate whiteboard-based feature requests into working code with little coaching.
