global leader in providing mobile applications, web systems, and strategic
IT solutions to their customers. This company has proven expertise in
mobile platform solutions, custom application development and B2C products.
They are looking to hire a Senior Mobile Xamarin Developer (Contract).
You will be responsible for collaborating with IT Managers, Product
Managers, Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to analyze,
organize, prepare and conduct complex Mobile - Android applications.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter able to dive in, resolve
ambiguity, and achieve results. The candidate must also have a high
attention to detail with proven success in working with multiple
stakeholders, and managing and meeting deadlines.

Your Primary Mobile Development Responsibilities are:
You will design, develop, and deliver cross platform mobile
applications either through Web, Hybrid or Native approaches and associated
frameworks.
The team will utilize native technologies and mobile frameworks.
Experience with integration through web services and APIs and the
appropriate standards.
Develop Android apps using a variety of server, web, and mobile
technologies.
Stay informed of recommended practices, team standards, and
company processes.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and
deliver robust solutions that meet our customers’ needs and surpass their
expectations.
Contribute to all aspects of the development process: Planning and
estimation, writing code, creating automated tests, maintaining builds and
environments, deploying solutions, and supporting production systems.
You will utilize your knowledge and experience in data modeling,
configuration, developing specifications, coding, testing, and
documentation.
We Can Get You an Interview For This Position If You Have:
Over 8+ years of Information Technology experience
3+ years as an experienced mobile developer in a distributed team
environment with native technologies or mobile frameworks
Experienced in sound Mobile coding practices
Participate in team walkthroughs and give constructive criticism
5+ Years application development with knowledge of professional
software engineering best practices
Knowledge and experience in programming and customizing within a
Xamarin environment desirable
Required Skills in these products: Xamarin, C#, .NET, LINQ, SQL.
Experience in creating mobile applications in native, hybrid
and/or web Experience in working with users to define their business
requirements
Desired skills in: MVC, Entity Framework, AJAX, JQuery,
JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server 2012, TFS
Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects.
Self-motivated, directed and passionate.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong understanding of n-tier architecture, object oriented
design, patterns and programming
