*Network Engineer*
*Location:: Pittsburgh PA*
*MOI:: T + S*
*Rate:: $45 /hr on c2c*
*Duration:: 6 months*
Need to have/get child clearances because work will be with school
districts.
*Job Description:*
The successful candidate will have experience implementing and configuring
Cisco network infrastructures including routers and switches.
*Job Responsibilities:*
Implement Cisco network solutions that accurately reflect the
customer stated objectives
Remote in to a switch and document current configuration
information, VLANS, IP, etc.
Configure switch Cisco switches according to existing design
requirements
Install and patch down new switches. Properly dress patch cables
Power on and test new switches for proper functionality
Some regional overnight travel may be required occasionally
*Education and experience:*
BS in Computer Science or related technical degree required, or
equivalent experience
5 years practical experience implementing Cisco wired and wireless
network infrastructures
Extensive Knowledge of TCP/IP, switches, routers, VPN technologies
Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
*Desired certifications:*
Cisco CCNP Route/Switch or equivalent
