*Position :* LDAP Administrator

*Location :* New York, NY

*Duration :* 12 months plus



L3 LDAP Ops position will be responsible for the following processes for
LDAP Data & Infra



   - LDAP Data:
      - Critical Path Join Engine – rules based engine responsible from
      flowing data t/from LDAP and other data sources.
      - Various feeds scripts responsible for pulling/pushing data to/from
      LDAP.
   - LDAP Infra:
      - Firmwide LDAP - People repository for employees and application
      data.
      - Siteminder LDAP - 2 infrastructures containing prod &
      non-production Siteminder policy data.
      - ClientServ LDAP -  LDAP repository which provides MS Online client
      authentication



*Skills Required:*

   - Experience in planning large scale infrastructure initiatives.
   - Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues.
   - Expertise in Unix/Linux environments
   - Sybase and DB2 Database.
   - Autosys
   - Project Management
   - Apache/Tomcat Web Services



*Skills Desired:*

   - Financial Application background
   - LDAP
   - Data Management
   - ITIL certifications
   - Perl



*Availability Management*

   - Provide 100% Environment Availability for QA, UAT and Production
   systems.
   - Environment Usage Guidelines - Ensure right configuration of Software
   and hardware Components in UAT, QA and Production environments for projects
   to work, in partnership with development teams
   - Ready for Business Checks - Manage the implementation of ready for
   business checks across supported systems.
   - Environment Downtime Communication - Provide proactive and reactive
   downtime communications to all stakeholders.



*Stability*

   - Application Monitoring - Watch Tower and custom monitor implementation
   & configuration.
   - Capacity Planning, Reporting and Remediation - Proactively assess and
   measure capacity usage across all supported systems and appropriately plan
   for necessary future capacity demands.
   - Change Management – Host a Change review meeting to ensure all
   scheduled changes conform to the Global Technology and Data Change
   Implementation Management Standard.
   - Provide Incident & Problem Management for all S1-S4 incidents.



*Infrastructure Management*

   - Plant Management - Server Procurement/Server Hygiene - Liaison with
   Enterprise Infrastructure to acquire required hardware & software for the
   QA, UAT and production environments, manage consistency of OS and patch
   versions across systems and decommission of EOL hardware.
   - Database Management - Ensure DB Housekeeping (defrag, statistics
   policies, indexing etc) across MSRD databases working with EI.
   - DR Exercises / Power Downs - Manage the communication, coordination
   for Disaster Recovery Tests and Power Downs.
