*Main points summary:* Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably more senior
but that's minimum This is a very heavy project with the consultant
interfacing with development, business users and the vendor - Broadridge.

Candidate must have solid (not just a year or two) experience with the
following:



·         PM/ BA - must have on resume

·         WRITES WELL- Business Requirements Documentation, Functional
Requirements Documentation,

·         Ability to Articulate DEEPLY the front to back office trading
process, this must be clear on resume

·         SDLC (end to end from a BA/ PM perspective (NOT from a
Development background)

·         Ability to manage stakeholders  - development and business users,
testing and implementation process

·         Back Office Trading Systems /  Trading Process

·         Broadridge - BPS / GPS

·         Equities  Trading (not research, not wealth management etc.).
Fixed Income  Trading  we will consider BUT really must have Equities

·         Understands the Front to Back office TRADING PROCESS

·         Can design Workflow Process

·         Understands software process / methodologies

·         Solid financial services background from Trading Back Office /
Knows Broadridge    -

·         Equities is really preferred.

·         Solid BA skills - include FRDs, BRDs etc.

·         Accounting background and/or experience with accounting systems
(e.g., General Ledger) a big plus

·         Solid Comm skills including ability to make presentations to Sr.
Management

·         He likes people who grew up as a BA best

·         They can provide detailed examples of their PM / BA work -
methodology, documentation etc.

*Full job description:*

Our direct client, a major international investment bank is looking for an
experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst Consultant to support the
effort to replace the legacy mainframe back office system with commercial
and bespoke systems.  The program is large and complex impacting business
processes and functions across Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and
Reference Data.



*THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:*



·         Analysis of the current and target state system architecture.

·         Current and target state business process analysis.

·         Requirements engineering.

·         Test plan development; and partnering and communicating with
stakeholders.

·         The BA will be highly technical, have experience working with
Broadridge. BPS/BPSA/GPS, and work in a matrix team environment with other
BAs, system architects, application leads, developers, Operations change
management leads, stakeholders/users, and QA groups.



*Key Responsibilities:*



·         Analyze business processes supported by current state mainframe
environment and document functions, applications, inbound/outbound feeds,
data flows, reports, and stakeholders impacted.

·         Translate current state to target state operating/infrastructure
model working with Systems Architect  / Application leads, and business
stakeholders.

·         Provide support documentation to validate target state with
global design authorities.

·         Develop requirements engineering plans and identify requirements
deliverables for each work stream.

·         Document business requirements, functional specifications, use
cases, traceability matrices, data dictionaries/models, signoffs, and
change control procedures. specific to the Broadridge BPS/BPSA/GPS
implementation.

·         Develop work stream plans to decommission the mainframe and
migrate critical functions; ensure timeframes and resourcing are estimated
accurately.

·         Collaborate with application leads and business leads to monitor
the activities, tasks, milestones and deliverables within the project plan,
reporting formal statuses at least weekly.

·         Identify risks and issues that affect project slippage with
mitigations and recommendations to protect the plan

·         Develop SIT/QA/UAT test plans and scripts; manage the
defect/resolution process with IT and business leads; and obtain formal
user sign offs for the test plan and exit results

·         Organize project documentation and test results on share point
ensuring work papers are auditable and traceable

·         Ensure SDLC best practices are followed throughout the project
life cycle (sign offs, requirements change control, frequent plan updates,
RAID logs, etc.)



*WHAT GETS YOU THE JOB:*



·         10+ years overall experience in Capital Markets.

·         Strong knowledge of front to back securities transaction
processing, particularly in Equities.

·         *Experience with Broadridge/BPS/BPSA/GPS system processing is a
must*.

·         Written/verbal communication skills are essential for success in
this role

·         Ability to work with challenging stakeholders and IT colleagues
in a matrix environment.

·         Experience researching business / system processes, extracting
information from subject matter experts.

·         Ability to generate accurate / detailed business / system process
architecture diagrams and documents.

·         You are able to articulate solid recommendations, vet options,
and influence solutions in a productive manner.

·         Solid understanding of business process analysis, requirements
engineering disciplines, SDLC phases/methodologies, testing
practices/tools, toll gate entry/exit criteria, and change control.

·         Accounting background and/or experience with accounting systems
(i.e. General Ledger) a big plus.

·         Bachelor's degree.
