The Manual Tester is a skilled individual, responsible for conducting the
technical verification and validation of new and incremental software
releases. The Manual Tester works with development to insure the timely
release of excellent software products. Using best practices in the
software environment, the Tester will collaborate with team members across
disciplines to insure the continued and timely release of quality software
and challenge and refine internal processes.
Essential Job Functions: Software Testing
* Create test plans, test cases
* Define and create test data for multiple projects
* Document and track defects and issues found during system testing.
Interface with project development members to assist with solving quality
risks
* Participate in continuous process improvement activities
* Produce regular status and operational reports
*Participate in the selection and implementation of select tools and
technologies to be dedicated to RCI testing
efforts.
* Follow test standards, guidelines and best practices aligned with
compliance guidelines and IT goals.
* Minimum 2 years Manual QA / Testing experience.
* Should be a capable and consistent worker, but will be given clear and
regular direction
