*SAP BI/BW.* *Location: Mason, OH* *Duration: 4 month contract* *Phone/Skype* looking for an SAP BW Level II Developer within our Corporate IT department. The SAP BW Level II Developer is responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions in the SAP Business Warehouse; and collaborating with a team of Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, and Data Governance Analysts to define effective solutions that meet the application, information, infrastructure, and business requirements. Additional responsibilities include: identifying technical problems and implementing proposed solutions; participating in gathering requirements; developing and designing recommendations; assisting in the development of processes and procedures for development and delivery; executing development changes according to defined development methodology; monitoring and administering SAP BW operations and performance to ensure all SLAs are met, including ETL processes, query performance, and overall system health; documenting efforts according to business requirements and following PMO lifecycle methodology and any change management procedures; producing gap analysis to identify alternate solutions specific to SAP Business Intelligence and providing technical recommendations on design or architecture improvements; establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with various IT and business teams and SAP IT support teams; assist in coordinating development unit tests as needed; identifying risks and issues early and rectifying problems and deviations from plan; ensuring proper impact assessment of all risks and issues and changes to scope, requirements or design; ensuring development projects take full account of and correctly interface with existing systems, infrastructure and enterprise architecture; and assisting with the team’s quality objectives and taking responsibility for unit test coverage and completion to minimize defects in subsequent testing and production. - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of experience within Information Systems. - Minimum 3 years of experience in BI/BW application development and implementation for SAP; specifically with one or more of the following: SAP ECC 6.0 integration, SAP BW 7.x, SAP HANA 1.0, BEx 7.x , Enterprise Portal, and Solution Manager 7.1, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, ABAP Programming, Business Objects 4.x. - Minimum 3 years of entire Software Development Life Cycle experience, delivering functionality on time, on budget and to meet business needs. - Minimum 3 years of planning and organizational skills, including ability to engage with multiple development projects concurrently and working to tight deadlines. - Minimum 1 year of process improvement experience for operational support systems - Minimum 1 year of experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of individuals, including manager, directors and executives - Business process experience and knowledge of SAP components and functionality such as: SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Supply Chain Management (SCM, including APO, SNC), and SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Experience with BW 7.3+ on HANA, preferred - Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001 and other IT standards, preferred *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
