This position requires a self-motived individual contributor with strong architecture skills and subject matter expertise in video content pipeline, including ingestion, processing, encryption, management and delivery to multiple devices. *Responsibilities:* Define architectural roadmap and blueprint design for business and technology initiatives Proactively identify and suggest architecture improvements Research emerging trends and industry standards in the video content pipeline including ingestion, processing, encryption, management and delivery to multiple devices across satellite broadcast and broadband Facilitate and lead evaluation and selection of commercial off-the-shelf products, frameworks and open source platforms Be a subject matter expert in the assigned functional domain and capable of mentoring others *Experience* Architecture or design content ingestion and processing systems Architecture or design content workflow and management Understanding of content distribution through satellite broadcast and broadband (e.g. CDN or managed network) Understanding of video streaming technology (e.g. HLS, MPEG-DASH, Smooth Streaming, etc.) Understanding of client technologies (e.g. STB, mobile devices, etc.) and its integration with the backend. *Qualifications* Bachelor' s degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master' s degree preferred 5+ years relevant experience as a System Architect in the Entertainment and Media industry Experience in defining high-level architecture design and technology roadmaps Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups, time management, organizational and negotiation skills Understanding of latest trends and technologies in the Entertainment and Media industry is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities Understanding of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development is preferred Thanks & Regards *Naresh Soma * *Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc * Ph: 630-315-9581 Email : [email protected] <[email protected]> || http://www.aesinc.us.com Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
