*Skills Required and Job Description:*
* As a Data Modeler:*
- Work directly with business clients and business analysts to
understand KPIs, dashboard, reporting, analytic needs, and ETL requirements
- Work closely with Enterprise Data Architect, Data Integrators (ETL)
and Reporting Team to deliver viable solutions
- Create conceptual, logical and physical data models for the assigned
projects
- Conduct data analysis and data profiling on source and target systems
- Develop source-to-target mapping for ETL implementation
- Work with the DBA team to implement the physical model
- Work with the Data Integration team on ETL implementation
- Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and
consistency
*Experience:*
- Minimum 7 years of Data Modeling experience in a Data Warehousing
environment
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills a must
- Experience working on Oracle databases and DW appliance (Netezza
preferred) platforms
- Excellent SQL skills required
- *Experience modeling large data sets (big data).*
