*Position: Business Analyst (Scrum Master) Location: San Ramon, CA Duration: Long Term* *Interview: Phone & Face2Face* *Need Only Locals!!* *Job Overview:* In the role of Business Analyst, you are responsible for developing and managing functional and non-functional requirements for complex software project releases. *Essential Functions/Responsibilities:* As a Business Analyst, you will: · Acquire new domain knowledge quickly and continually adapt to different stakeholder, customer, and team styles · Develop and manage functional and non-functional requirements for one or more complex development projects, and ensure continued alignment with business and technology drivers · Decompose project scope with minimal direction, apply best practices to develop and maintain product backlogs against which development teams will execute · Document project scope expertly · Break scope down in to user stories which clearly articulate development requirements and acceptance criteria · Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams throughout product development life cycles to ensure that there is clarity of scope at every level (e.g. project, release, sprint, user story) · Apply solid technical, business, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and contribute to positive outcomes for project stakeholders and development team · Promote the ongoing development of Agile principles, and bring a strong understanding of Lean thinking and practices · Contribute to a Community of Practice for Business Analysis · Embrace contemporary development practices such as BDD, TDD, and Pair Programming · Facilitate various types of meetings and lead and/or contribute to Agile team rituals and practices, including daily stand-ups, demos/retros, planning meetings, etc. *Required Skills:* · Superior communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, subject matter experts, and software engineers · Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of the software product development lifecycle · Proven ability to understand business needs and translate thoroughly in to functional and non-functional requirements · *Requirements Management and Scope Decomposition* · *Must have recent , dedicated experience in developing requirements and managing those requirements with development teams.* · Experience and demonstrated success managing business and/or technology projects or teams · Strong analytical skills; excellent attention to detail and ability to understand the 'big picture’ · Team oriented, dynamic, appreciation for fast-paced environment, able to shift gears fluidly and wear multiple hats *Desired Education and Experience* · Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience (or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Business, Software, Computer Science or related field) or ITLP graduate · Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst focused on commercial application software · Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing commercial application software in an agile environment or ITLP graduate · Relevant certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner Net2Source is an employer-of-choice for over 1000 consultants across the globe.
