*Role- Data Analyst* *Client- Principal Financial* *Location- Des Moines, IA* *Duration- 12+ months * *Consultant Rate - $50hr/- all incl.* *Need someone LOCAL ONLY.* Description: Seeking a Data Analyst to support efforts related to participants of retirement plans. This individual will be responsible for combining participant data from multiple sources and providing summarized results to business partners. The results will be used to drive business decisions and strategy. Requires attention to detail and accuracy as well as analytical/critical thinking skills to drive conclusions from data. Must be able to develop effective relationships with business partners, understand the business drivers, and think strategically from both the business and IT perspectives. Ability to communicate findings into understandable content is critical. Required technical skills include: query tools (SQL, SAS, etc), knowledge of databases, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, and ability to interpret data models. In-depth understanding of data concepts such as data quality, data stewardship, and metadata also desired.
