Summary:

Qualified Candidates: 

#1 – 5+ years of development on the SAP platform with 3+ years of experience 
developing within PI, including participation in at least three full SAP 
implementations 

#2. Experience with multiple modules of the ECC application, such as: SD, MM, 
FI, QM, HCM 
#3. Expert working knowledge of SAP integration tools, such as: Graphical 
Mapping, 
ABAP Mapping, SLD/ESR/ID configuration, BPM, EDI, IDOCs, Workflow, Web Services
Job Summary: 
Works directly with the project managers, business analysts, internal business 
customers and infrastructure groups as needed to design, document, develop 
and test information delivery solutions. Responsible for 
creating, maintaining and executing team processes, standards and production 
delivery. Additional responsibilities include reviewing existing processes 
to ensure SJM aligns with industry best practices, creating and 
maintaining team processes, and development and support standards for SJM’s 
environment. 
Job Duties: List the significant/essential duties, tasks or responsibilities

• Creates and oversees software design specifications which meet all the 
business 
requirements, utilizing the appropriate notations and templates
• Participates and/or facilitates in the requirement specification process 
for new software functionality to ensure that definitions of new functionality 
are clearly defined, fully understood and deliverable
• Collaborates with the business analysts to determine appropriate software 
capabilities, functionality and design options
• Provide peer reviews to ensure designs are consistent with organizational 
development standards and align with industry guidelines/best practices 
• Participates in creation of testing plans and in the execution of test cases. 
May develop the testing and validation of new software or enhancements to 
ensure 
software changes meet functional requirements
• Participates in and oversees the design, development and testing of complex 
enhancements spanning multiple applications.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide assessment, presentations and 
recommendations 
on overall fit into SJM’s environment and strategy.
• Participate in developing and maintaining the roadmap for technology tools 
and environments.
• Provide post-production application support as required. Responsibilities 
may include consultation, problem identification, data analysis, and / or 
emergency 
repairs; requirements for support could entail a rotating 24x7x365 shift 
coverage
• Assists in providing technical expertise in evaluating and determining what 
new technologies will work within current and future product delivery 
environments.
Qualifications: 
• Associate or technical degree in computers, business, or related field. 
Bachelor’s 
degree preferred or a minimum of 8 years related technology experience.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and oversee technical review 
processes
• Ability to help customer’s understand capabilities and translate requirements 
into solutions that are practical to implementation, robust and scalable.
• Oversees and reviews technical documentation and review processes
• Ability to provide support on a rotating 24x7x365 shift. 
• Ability to work in a highly matrix and geographically diverse business model
• Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor 
in a fast paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets 
deadlines in timely manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to effectively 
communicate 
at multiple levels in the organization.

Technical Domain Qualifications:
SAP
• 5+ years of development on the SAP platform
• 3+ years of experience developing within PI

Object Oriented ABAP, Function modules (RFC), Smartforms, SAP Script, BDC/Call 
Transaction, User Exits, Logical Database, etc.
• Experience with CRM, GTS, SCM, Portal and APO applications, preferred
• JAVA development experience, preferred
