*Position : Citrix Administrator *
*Location: Lenexa, KS*
*Duration: 6+ Months*
*J**ob Description*:
- Design and implementation XenApp Solutions.
- Migration of Citrix old environments (4.0) to new XenApp
environment (7.6).
- Configuring high availability for WI, Storefront, Access gateway
using Netscaler.
- Integrating Citrix access through SSL proxy with AD server and
Entrust 2- factor authentication.
- Publish the required applications in presentation server /Xenapp
and test the application connectivity.
- Citrix product project implementation and transition to
Operations team.
- Perform maintenance on Citrix Farm to reduce incidents.
- Proactive patching Citrix servers and farm supporting servers.
- Citrix and RDS licenses management.
- Netscaler Configuration and implement new configuration as per
project requirement.
- Netscaler Firmware and SSL certificate upgrade.
- Citrix Xenapp Datastore database maintenance.
- Citrix farm capacity management and monitoring
- Design DMZ hosting requirement and basic firewall functional
knowledge.
- MCS and provisioning service deployment.
- Delivery controller issue troubleshooting and management.
- Strong knowledge to build servers in Virtual environment.
- Fix Citrix related incident ticket raised by users and attending
change “CAB” meeting.
- Attend design review meeting with application vendors.
- Datacenter server hardware replacement troubleshooting and
coordination..
*Experience ( Essential )*
· Strong knowledge on Citrix Technologies like XenApp, WI,
Storefront, Netscaler and supporting infrastructure. Architecting/design
experience on these technologies.
- IT Infrastructure domain knowledge on Citrix connecting technologies
like VMware, Firewall, WebInterface , Database servers, IIS etc.
· Strong hands-on knowledge on Citrix implementation and
configuration in an Enterprise setup.
· Hands-on experience on supporting Citrix Xenapp farm from version
4.0 to Xenapp 7.6.
· Extensive knowledge of Windows Servers (2000, 2003, 2008 and
2012),Active Directory 2003/2008, group policy management.
· Experience inmanaging storage subsystems for creating file stores
for users and profiles management.
· Working knowledge on Cluster environment
· Troubleshoot Datacenter server hardware and coordinate with
vendor
· Good Communication skills
· Process knowledge to handle enterprise environment
· Good and effective written and oral communication

· Experience of working in International business environment
· Knowledge to handle high severity incidents and fixing problem
management issue.
