Extensive experience and knowledge working with DB2, including performance
engineering and tuning
JAVA scripting
RDBMS design
Working knowledge of COBOL
Experience participating in requirements analysis process to define data
elements
Experience developing requirements model and data flow diagrams
Experience designing data model, entity relationships, data structures,
table structures
Experience fine-tuning and optimizing database performance and throughput
for high volume
applications
Experience developing data tables and administration set-up
Experience assisting application developers to design interfaces, bindings
Experience providing DB2 subject matter expertise and technical leadership
Experience assisting with the development of procedures to ensure data
quality and integrity
during the data transition
Develops mechanisms to load data for development, testing, and performance
Experience developing mechanisms to load data for development, testing, and
performance engineering activities
Excellent analytical and communication skills
