Job Title : SAS Programmer with Credit Risk Location : Pittsburg, PA Duration : 4-6 Months *USC & GC Only No H1B Please* *Background and Requirements:* The Customer requires an experienced Senior SAS Programmer / Data Analyst with Credit Risk experience: to do detailed data analysis and data profiling. · Business requirements gathering, mapping, analysis and testing of Credit Risk Data development project and change requests. Help with building project estimates. · Work as SAS liaison for various data mart issues (Production support). Analysis and resolution of various issues as it relates to the credit risk repository Work on other projects where credit risk has an interface. · SME for Credit Risk Data Repository, single point of knowledge · Analysis and coordination of SAS related tasks across the organization. Example: credit risk, marketing, supply chain mgmt. etc. Help with creating various reports, datasets as needed. Automation of certain SAS jobs. · Serve as a liaison between SAS team and credit risk for various purposes. Example: Data cleanup, investigate data issues, SAS related issues etc. · Run bi-weekly SAS team meetings to gather progress and updates of key tasks. *Specific SAS Programmer/ Data Analyst Requirements:* · Apply and demonstrate expertise with efficient DATA step, SQL programming and SAS Macro programming. · Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient. · SAS is running on a UNIX platform. So, the consultant must have UNIX expertise and scripting experience. · Additional coding responsibilities would be to take ownership of legacy code written by other employees and understand what the code does, how to enhance it, and how to make it more efficient if need be. · Must have proven data modeling and data architecting expertise · Have good oral and written communication skills. · Lead and/or actively participate in SAS knowledge-sharing activities.
