*Only bay area candidates and looking for senior candidates.* *Rate: $45/hr c2c*** * * *Skills/Experience/Education Required: * 10 years of progressively complex application development/software engineer experience. Technical expertise in and recent demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge and experience with JAVA, STRUTS 2, Spring, JavaScript, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, and production operation of large-scale business applications. Experience interfacing with web services (SOAP, WSDL, etc.) Technical expertise and comfort in the Linux environment including: knowledge of standard UNIX commands and tools. Experience with formulating estimates of time required for assignments and developing project plans, and providing regular status reports on work progress. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work independently, but coordinate with others whenever required. Familiarity with test driven development, JUNIT. Experience with Eclipse; comfortable using Eclipse with source control management products (preferably cvs). * * *Preferred Skills:* 1. Web application Programming using IBMs RAD. 2. Familiarity with the jQuery JavaScript library. 3. Web Service experience with Sun Metro, JAXB and JAX-WS. 4. Sun certified Java programmer desirable.
