Test Lead experience - 70% automation, 30% manual - This is not going to be a position where they are strictly testing 100% of the time. They will help make sure all groups are following processes, not cutting corners. - The QA is going to be the liaison between tech and biz sides. - This person must be a critical thinker. Technical and Business, but more technical than most QA's. - *Ability to query databases. * - Most companies will automate on the UI side...that's not what this role will be doing. *They actually test the "underlying code."* So instead of testing the login page, they test the service. Exp: Here's the info that goes into the code...then they will test the OUTCOME. They feel it's a better use of time than just testing web pages. - Candidate should have the ability to debug or modify object oriented code. - C# or Java experience is good. - If a contractor - they have to be very solid. Able to come in and hit the ground running. - If coming in as perm, he understands that there will be a little bit of ramp up period. The Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) participates in the design and quality assurance aspects of performance marketing program development, leads testing on medium to large projects, develops acceptance test automation, develops load / stress test automation, develops test plans and test cases from business requirements, executes test cases, tracks software defects, and verifies software fixes. The QAA operates in a team environment with other members of the Technology Services team. *Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related major or comparable work experience. - Five to ten years experience testing client/server and web based applications. - Five to ten years experience developing, implementing and documenting test plans and test scripts. - Five to ten years experience providing time estimates for testing an application. - Five to ten years of experience with established and proven software development methodologies and procedures. - Five to ten years experience in documenting and managing clear and detailed issue reports. - Five to ten years experience in communicating with technical staff and business end users. - Five to ten years of effective planning, scheduling, coordinating medium to large projects, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects concurrently. - Five to ten years SQL skills and experience with SQL Database Query Analyzer. - Five to ten years experience in all phases of testing, documenting results and communicating the results. Specific experience working with ITA Group’s current primary technology and software preferred, which include: MS Visual Studio 2012, 2013; C#; ASP.NET; SQL Server 2008 & 2012; SpecFlow; MSTest; GIT; Jenkins; NHibernate;Neoload; BurpSuite; - Three or more years of training and mentoring others in the quality assurance tasks and responsibilities. - Experience with Agile software development concepts and testing in an Agile work environment. - Ability to create automated tests using an automated testing tool including scripting / setting up reusable test function sets. - Experience gathering performance requirements and scenarios from users and using an automated load testing tool. Advanced experience including extensive programming in load testing tool, in-depth understanding of different system / application counters collected is preferred. - Requires creativity, sound judgment, and the foresight to identify potential problems within the application and its interface. - Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to interact with other systems personnel in a team environment. - Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to nonpublic business, financial and technological information, plans or data. - High motivation and self-direction, sound problem solving skills, decision making and multi-tasking skills. - Ability to think analytically to solve problems individually and in a team environment. - Ability to handle a fast-paced changing environment. - Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred. - Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines. *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
