Maintains existing dashboards, reports, and OLAP models and enhances and develop new and improved dashboards and reports. Utilizes advanced experience with the Cognos suite of Business Intelligence tools both as a developer and an administrator, including installation, upgrades, and security maintenance within the tool. Conducts framework manager modeling within the Cognos environment and Report Studio and provides business hours and after hours support for applications already in production. Qualifications: 1. 5 or more years of experience as an application developer on Business Intelligence projects, designing and developing complex reports 2. In depth experience with Cognos Business Intelligence applications, Cognos 10 preferred 3. Experience creating and implementing framework manager models 4. In depth experience with data warehousing and business intelligence projects, having delivered on multiple solutions in these areas 5. Demonstrated knowledge of writing SQL and SQL stored procedure 6. Experience working in a SQL Server 2008 or later environment 7. Team player, demonstrates the ability to take initiative 8. Thorough understanding of IT (SDLC) delivery methodologies 9. Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, data modeling and database design 10. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 11.
