*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]>* ETL Developer. *Need local to OH* An ETL Developer is needed to fulfill a contract role with our client located in Westfield Center, Ohio. The candidate will provide Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) development services for the client's IT department. ETL development services require designing, developing, unit/system testing and production implementation of IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL to provide converted AIS3 data and external application interfacing with Distribution Management tool. Responsibilities: • ETL Process Design - Define the scope, target and transformation rules for each DataStage deliverable. • Participate in transformation requirements walkthroughs • Prepare Data Mapping documentation, which defines source-to-target field mapping • Include a logical description of specific transformation rules for the data being transformed • Develop ETL Processes - Develop DataStage jobs to conform with client's established coding standards. Code transformation rules per coding standards • Develop DataStage Parallel and Sequence Jobs • Unit test the individual DataStage component that is developed • Document ETL Test Plan • Test ETL process • Validate expected results • System Integration Test (SIT) • Coordinate with Data Integration Team Lead to move ETL processes to SIT environment, monitor and administer automated and manual ETL jobs, and perform defect resolution. • Migrate ETL processes in conformance with software release processes • Load SIT per project timeline • Modify DataStage code per project timeline • Problem Assessment for defects assigned to vendor representative • Resolved defects assigned to vendor representative. • Coordinate with Data Integration Team Lead to move ETL processes to Production environment in conformance with software release processes • Load EDW, applications and DM tool per project timeline.
