*Please send Resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Need Locals Only* We need a *Sr. Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) *with for a 6+ month contract assignment with a major *Healthcare *industry client in *Colorado Springs, CO*. Purpose: *Will work as part of the Claims Manager / CES technical support team through ICD-10 implementation.* Contractor will be expected to: 1. Determine root cause analysis of *database* related issues. 2. Initiate direct contact with clients to *troubleshoot technical issues* and provide resolutions. 3. Create work tickets based on the customers issue. 4. Safeguard client PHI data when interacting with the clients database. 5. Act as the team's *database management subject matter expert* in order to more quickly and efficiently resolve client issues. 6. Escalate *advanced support issues* or client complaints appropriately to the team or manager. 7. *Develop and run queries on customer database systems. May include custom scripting. *8. Perform other duties as assigned. Required skills for this position include: 1. Experience with *Oracle, Windows Server, and SQL.* 2. Experience *remotely accessing* a client’s system. 3. Ability to deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner. 4. Ability to work well with a team in a high tempo, stressful environment. 5. Ability to manage time appropriately and frequently shift priorities based on incoming situations. 6. Strong understanding of *Oracle backup and recovery techniques*. 7. Understanding of *change control procedures*. Recommended skills for this position include: 1. Experience in a *call center* environment 2. Experience working within a strictly controlled schedule 3. Bachelors degree and *Oracle Certification preferred*. Work hours: Mon - Fri. 8 hour shift during our business hours (7am-5pm MST). Occasional overtime may be required but will not be assigned to a pager rotation.
