Reply me back with your updated resume.* *Position :: HUNK/SPLUNK ENGINEER Location : Plano, TX or Seattle, WA Duration : 6+ Months * *Job description :* The individual needs to be either currently working in a Big Data (Hadoop) environment or has worked in one in the past year. The position can be based in Plano (with 50% travel to Seattle) or based in Seattle. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, install, configure, test and deliver Big Data Analytics solutions. This includes: · Responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, deploying and maintaining Splunk/HUNK solutions and dashboards running on Big Data technologies such as Hadoop. · Splunk/HUNK deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms. · Troubleshoot Splunk/HUNK server and agent problems and issues. · Populate Splunk/HUNK from 3rd party data sources (i.e. bash/python scripts/SQL DB/APIs) · Develop reliable, efficient queries that will feed custom Alert, Dashboards and Reports · Design and maintain production-quality dashboards. · Mentor and train Splunk/HUNK users and administrators. · Participate in design discussions and author design documentation.
