*Sr. Java Developer* Crystal City, VA. 6-12 Months Contract Must be local..F2F interview is required GC or Citizen able to obtain Public Trust (client will sponsor). *Must have:* Web application framework (Spring MVC, Struts, Wicket) JBoss web containers Hibernate and Oracle SOAP Web Services *Experience:* Successful candidates will have 6-8 years of work performing software engineering related activities. Candidates will be developing web-based solutions using Java/J2EE, and working with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum. *Required:* Six to Eight years of software/system development work experience in the following areas: · Demonstrated full life cycle experience analyzing, developing and maintaining applications in a dynamic environment. · Strong communication skills serving as point of contact to business users during development, testing and requirements gathering · Analyze and study complex system requirement user stories; create detailed software design from system requirements; and translate detailed design into computer software · Test, debug and refine computer software to meet stated requirements traced to design · Prepare necessary documentation to meet both programming and user-level requirements · Strong analytical and development skills to troubleshoot , enhance, and performance tune web applications · Four or more years delivering web-based solutions using Java technologies such as, Spring, Ajax, JDBC, EJB, JavaScript, etc · Experience with front end web-based solutions such as Spring MVC, Struts, JSF, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript. · Experience with No-SQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus · An understanding, and preferably experience with, implementing solutions using web services in a Service Oriented Architecture, i.e., J2EE and XML enabled Web Services, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XSD, etc · Experience developing JUnit tests as part of the development life cycle. · Experience with build and configuration management tools such as Ant, Maven, SVN, CVS, Perforce. · Ability to configure, deploy, debug application servers such as such as Tomcat and JBoss. · Must have a strong desire and commitment to learn new technologies quickly. · Must be a good team player but also able to work independently. · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related discipline or equivalent work experience. *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
