*Job Responsibilities*:

- Provide Level 2 (L2) Support

- Coordinate delivery of L2 and Level 3 (L3) tasks with the off-shore team

- Coordinating L2 & L3 Support activities for eVolution

- Strong experience in leading off-shore team

- Responds promptly to business requests and production issues

- Own the case from receiving to resolution, provide periodic updates

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for Critical and Urgent eVolution cases

- Gathers and continually improves cross-functional business area knowledge

- Develops and maintains complex applications using a thorough understanding
of a number of technologies

- Stays educated and strives to use the adopted toolset in the best possible
way and to become knowledgeable on new application development technologies
as they are adopted

- Provide periodic Status Reports to Bio-Rad Support Manager

- Maintain Support Process Definition Handbook(s)

- Create and maintain a knowledge base of known issues and resolutions



*Job Experience:*

- Extensive experience implementing and supporting Sterling Multi-Channel
Selling (Previously known as Comergent 8.1)

- 5+ Years of development experience with Java & JSP

- Strong knowledge of XML and J2EE technologies (JDBC, JMS, etc)

- Extensive experience using Eclipse or an Eclipse based IDE

- HTML, Java Script, CSS

- Unix or Linux Knowledge (Preferred)

- Understanding of Relational Database concepts; views & SPs desired

- Web Services development experience is desired but not required

- Knowledge of version control system

- Knowledge of WebLogic Server is desired but not required

- Conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Knowledge of OO Analysis and Design Patterns, e.g., Model View Controller,
etc

- Spring (and Struts) framework experience (Preferred)
