*Location:: San Francisco, CA* *Duration:: 12 Months* *GC/ Citizens only* *Experience required:- At least 8 Years* *Skills required:-* • Extensive IT experience in software development & production support in Data Warehousing/ETL, Big Data and Hadoop. • Experience in Hadoop installation including setting up and configuring (Multi-Node) cluster. • Hands on experience in installing and configuring Hadoop & Hadoop eco system components like Pig, Hive. Oozie • Worked on Multi Clustered environment and setting up Hadoop eco system. • Analyzing data using Hive QL, PIG Latin and custom Map Reduce programs. • Optimizing HQLs for better performance. • Good knowledge on Map Reduce Framework & HDFS Architecture. • Good knowledge in Hadoop Shell Commands. • Having Working Knowledge on Sqoop and Flume for Data Processing. • Having good working Knowledge on UNIX Commands and Oracle. • Writing automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in different support activities.. • 3+ years of experience in Hadoop, NoSQL infrastructure administration preferably MapR distribution. • Manage extracting, loading and transforming data in and out of Hadoop, primarily using Hive, Sqoop, and distcp. • Proficiency with Shell scripts and administration tools like Ganglia. • Experience with deployment tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible etc. • Familiarity with YARN, HIVE, Pig, Sqoop, HBase, Spark, Kafka Working on automation of various processes so as to ease the understanding of different phases of SDLC like Development, Testing, Implementation and Maintenance phase.
