*Position:**Hadoop Business Analyst* *Location: **Minneapolis,**MN* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Purpose/Role:* The* Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) Business Analyst* will partner with the EDH technical team, IS functional pillar and business partner teams in driving the requirements, design and development activities for several systems to be retired/archived within BSC’s multi-node *Hadoop cluster* (aka EDH). Additional responsibilities may be required including project management and training facilitation. The candidate must be extremely results driven, customer focused, skilled at building internal and external relationships while having the ability to communicate technical information on a non-technical level. As there will be multiple projects that this role will be leading simultaneously, the ability to multi-task, without impacting the timeline and quality of deliverables, is essential. *Key Responsibilities:* • Serve as a contributor to a team of IS professionals focused on big data technology, technical project delivery and communication of results to leadership • Ability to transform the analysis of business requirements specifications, measurements, data mappings, policies, business procedures, etc. • Strong understanding of Hadoop, ETL, data migration and/or data warehousing • Deliver projects in a regulated environment • Ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations for quality, timeliness, performance and budget • Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers. • Work collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization of goals and resources across multiple stakeholders, project priorities, and organizational initiatives • Demonstrated success in working in a team environment for both internal/external customers to deliver global solutions that are integrated, and accommodate all related activities and which do not negatively impact other functional areas • Ability to lead multiple projects and tasks to completion • Ability to work with both business and technical community alike *Quality System Requirements:* In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. *Qualifications:* • Undergraduate degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field required • Experience in implementing large-scale software projects in a regulated environment • Strong experience contributing to and managing the planning and execution of SDLC processes • Ability to work in a multi-faceted, fast paced, self-directed, action-oriented environment • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills • Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals. • Experience working in a matrix environment and delivering projects and services via a combination of internal, contract, and outsourced resources • Experience in life science industry is highly beneficial • Proven understanding of software development and operations methodologies -- *Thanks & Regards* *Lucky Pawar* Sr Technical Recruiter *Integrated Technology Strategies, Inc.* Ph: 856-677-3043 lu...@itstrategiesinc.com | www.itstrategiesinc.com Yahoo/Gtalk IM : laxmikanthpawar -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
