You will have broad responsibilities for designing, building, and implementing mission critical software to a 24X7 environment. You will expand on evolving business requirements from a large number of stakeholders to insure that proper technical solutions are designed and implemented. Essential duties will include: Developing applications according to customer requirements following development standards; coordinating with other technical teams to develop appropriate interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency through capacity planning, performance assessment, and both integration and regression testing; coordinating customer acceptance testing and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues, regular status reports, and ongoing communication; understanding and adherence to the technology infrastructure and inter-relationships, and; develop/maintain efficient solutions to resolve complex business needs. You must be a strong Java Developer with at least 5 years of application design and development experience in Java/J2EE technologies and the ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment. Experience developing, unit testing, and deploying high volume services (SOA, EDA) across various environments a must. A strong understanding of OOP, including Design Patterns and experience using common Java frameworks and libraries is essential. The ability to collaborate with technical architects to understand functional requirements and the big picture to develop effective, flexible solutions required. Must be familiar with Eclipse (Integrated Development Environment) and the usage of source code repositories (like SVN) from within Eclipse for all Java projects. A strong focus on unit (JUnit) and systems integration testing needed. A BS in engineering, physics or mathematics or equivalent experience in field is a plus. Other plusses include: Experience working in an Agile DEVELOPMENT environment; experience using NoSQL databases like MongoDB , Cassandra, Redis, etc. Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins desirable as well. Experience in Web Development using REST, CSS, HTML5, JSON, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, Mobile UI frameworks, Responsive Web Design, WebSockets also as strong plus. Graphics experience/talent is a plus. Experience with SOA management tools such as SOA software, Layer 7 desired.
