*SKILLS NEEDED*
- Classic ASP and VB.Net <http://vb.net/> skills in their past. . NET,
AWS, SQL 2012
- Dot Net Skills in VB.NET <http://vb.net/> No pure C#
- SQLServer
- Can write\debug Stored procedures
- Familiarity with SSIS Packages
- Good debugging skills for both the front end and backend
- Can write complex queries and does not rely on a DBA for them
- Must be able to create test cases and test their own code – We do not
have QA Team
- Ability to work with Users on testing and requirements gathering. This
would include documenting requirements and as needed, creating test cases
for the requirements.
- Good understanding of migrations from Sub Prod to Prod environments
- Self-starter, independent and self-motivated.
Pluses:
- Has been involved in conversions of Classic to Dot NET
- Has been involved in conversions from SQL2000 to SQL2008 or higher
- Has worked on complex and large Applications(multimillion record
databases)
- Familiar with TFS a plus
Can handle multiple assignments at once and is therefore organized and good
at time management
