In person interview is a must after the initial telephonic screen. *Job Title : Software Engineer* *Location : Sterling, VA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Qualifications/Education Requirements:* • Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent web development experience • Expertise writing elegant, cross-browser web applications using HTML / HTML5 / CSS / CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery / AngularJS / KnockoutJS / Bootstrap with an attention to detail, scalability, performance, and maintainability • Working experience with Golang or 5+ years experience with Java/J2EE, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, Struts 2, JUnit • Experience with Service Oriented architecture and application integration using REST/SOAP, JSON/XML. • Must be comfortable with general administration, configuration and troubleshooting in Linux/UNIX, Apache/Nginx and MySQL/Postgres • General knowledge of AWS platform • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB. • Must be willing to work in an extremely fast-paced work environment. • Must adhere to test-driven development and security by design principals. • Agile/Scrum and Continuous Integration experience with relevant software and tools such as Jira/Git/Jenkins) • High-level knowledge of site architecture/IA and understanding of design patterns • Candidate should showcase an acute ability to translate business requirements into unit tests and workable, reusable, and scalable code. • Candidate must be a self-starter with strong communication skills, superb time management, and excellent people skills. Not required, but nice to have • Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similar technologies for managing infrastructure • Experience with using Grunt and Bower for frontend package management is a plus • Development experience with Zend, Symfony, or similar PHP MVC frameworks is a plus • Working experience with CMS platforms such as EZ Publish CMS, Wordpress and Drupal is a plus. --- Thanks !
