Need Mid level Informatica/ETL consultant for 6 months+ contract in Berkeley CA
Location: Berkeley CA, LOCALS ONLY Duration: 6 months Rate: Market Required Qualifications: • Experience in ETL design and development using Informatica PowerCenter, up to and including version 8. • A sound and in-depth knowledge of data warehousing architecture, concepts and best practices. • Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues though data analysis and the use of Informatica’s debugging features. • Competence in performing business requirements analysis and developing work plans. • Experience developing complex Oracle SQL statements for research, analysis, data validation, and performance testing. • Familiarity with standard methodologies and best practices to generate high-quality, easily maintained, and efficient ETL processes. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to establish strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work both independently and on a team. • Proficiency using the Windows office suite. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Systems or the equivalent • Experience with productivity tools such as Toad, Hyperion/Brio, etc. • Experience in dimensional data modeling • UNIX experience, including shell script development.
