*Title: ** SAP SD Functional Consultant* *Location: Akron, OH* *Duration: 2+ Months* *Interview: Skype* *Years required: 10-15+ years* *Requirement description:* The position requires in-depth knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution end-to-end processes, with focus on EDI 830 Planning and EDI 862 JIT delivery processing along with end to end order cycle processes; i.e. sales order creation and processing, availability to promise (ATP), Product Allocations. The candidate is required to have experience and working knowledge of MRP requirements on Scheduling agreement, Batch Determination, EDI Interfaces and ASN processing. *Specific business opportunity:* The project objective is to implement the SAP standard processing for EDI 830/862 for the OE Customers. Evaluate the current process, gain in-depth understanding of Goodyear’s processing and recommends the to-be processes which need to be in SAP standard frame with minimal manual work around and keeping up with customer commitments. Additionally delivering the required reports for business community. *Resource Expectations:* The candidate is expected to have analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify, document, and recommend solutions to complex business problems with accuracy. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have the ability to build strong working relationships with business and technical teams. Specifically the candidate should have the ability to assist with the Infrastructure and Environment with respect to design and architecture recommendations and work with the IT group to implement the design.
