*Data Warehouse* *Location – **McLean VA* *Duration – The client can hire immediately OR there is a RTH after 3 Months.* *No. of positions: 2 positions are open.* *F2F after phone screens will be a big plus.* *Must be GC or Citizens.* Client is currently looking for a Data Warehouse in McLean VA. This position is responsible for the architecture and project development for the enterprise data warehouse of the Client. This role will also be involved in the development of technical design guidelines, data governance, project review and involvement on other Enterprise Information Management projects like Master Data, Data Quality, Big Data and others. This position will work closely with the project development teams and project support teams to ensure the right architecture is implemented across multiple work streams. *Job Description* *3+ years of work experience with enterprise data solutions, including: data warehousing, data modeling, data analysis, data governance, data management and/or data quality* *• Oracle DW Experience* *• Experience in Data Warehouse Architecture Projects* *• Strong Knowledge in Star Schema design and architecture* *• Hands-on experience with data and business process modeling tools* *• Experience with SQL or similar data querying language * *• Hospitality or Travel Industry Experience * *• 2+ Years’ experience in programming * *• Computer Science Degree* *Additional Responsibilities:* • Design data warehouse & data mart structures. • Develops standards (data definition, tools, platform) as related to information management, data warehouse, data governance and business intelligence. • Translate enterprise or business requirements into long-term information/data architecture solutions. • Help implement technology roadmaps related to Enterprise Information Management. • Collaborates with business analysts, developers and project managers on a wide range of technology projects • Apply data modeling techniques and standards to technology solutions • Design conceptual, logical, physical data models and database transaction structures • Assess client’s current data environments, perform root cause analysis of data-related issues and educate stakeholders on processes and practices to resolve these issues. • Work with business users to identify and capture client’s business, data, and functional requirements, and then translate them for use in construction business conceptual and application models. • Plan, execute and document audits of data projects and programs; assess quality of data and present recommendations to the customer based on audit findings. • Perform data profiling and data quality validation processes • Develop and implement metadata management, data dictionary, data quality, data profiling, data security, shared data usage and data cleansing standards. • Work with ETL specialists to assist in the definition of extract, transformation and load processes used to populate tables. • Perform data analysis at various stages of project, in order to assure development of a quality system. Analysis can include requirements development, testing, or user acceptance. • Exposure to or hands on experience with a Requirements Management tool such as DOORS or Requisite Pro is a plus. • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing for the intended purpose and audience is a must.
