Company/ Role Overview: Our direct client is looking for a mortgage technologists with Intex, CoreLogic, and regulatory expertise. The work involves collecting and cracking data files from various sources into our databases and building the necessary processes. Ideal candidate will be a software developer and a data junkie with tape cracking skills who is a subject matter expert on Agency and Non-Agency securities and loan level data from CoreLogic, Intex, eMBS, and Bloomberg. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following disciplines: Play a key role in our effort to deliver on several LE/IHC regulatory projects related to Dodd Frank and Volcker rules. These include loan and security level reporting for FR Y-9C (FR Y-14M & FR Y-14Q) & HC-S schedules in addition to various CCAR reporting requirements. Construct complex SQL queries to pull data from Sybase and SQL Server database repositories containing over 7 terabytes of data. Intensive tape cracking and data normalization effort Investigate data quality issues and provide remedy expeditiously Support price/cashflow calculators based on Intex API Build data tools, Spreadsheet models, OLAP cubes Work closely with Research and trading desks to capture requirements and provide ad-hoc mortgage analysis. This includes the construction of SQL queries, calculating prepayment speeds, generating cash-flows, providing loan performance and stratifications.
