Also responsible for the security, maintenance, and reliability of the Client Warranty computer network. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Assist in the set up, monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure, VPN, Firewalls/security (analyze, down to OS level, being up-to-date), Storage, LAN and WAN interfaces and Security solutions. Builds, configures, troubleshoots and integrates new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades. Recommends software and hardware enhancements. Defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for customers. Contributes towards the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) Maintains Backup Policies and Procedures per Data Retention Policies.. Conducts system analysis and supports development to keep systems current with changing technologies. *Reporting to this Position are:* No Direct Reports *Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Microsoft Server (2008-2012); DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, SAN, VMWare, Cisco ASA Proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. High attention to detail with the ability to streamline processes Ability to work well under pressures in a dynamic growth environment while focusing on results Availability for potential evening or weekend work in response to business needs. *Education/Experience Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology field or Associates degree and combined work experience. 3-5 years hands-on experience in dealing with security, support, and admin issues for TCP/IP networks. Current MCSE certification or proven equivalent.
