I’m being told the eCommerce experience is more of a preferred skill, but not a requirement for this project.* *However, still must have the Calabash experience and if they have Cucumber as well that will likely get them an interview right away. Please do not send me anyone without these skills.* *Responsibilities:* - Provide proper Mobile App testing expertise and execution wherever required - Provide recommendations on new technologies and tools for automation, especially in the Mobile Application (iOS, Android) domain - Must keep on top of latest features, versioning, and compatibility issues with regards to popular Mobile/Tablet devices and OS. - Perform test development and execution for mobile applications - Properly communicate test activities, estimates, tasks, and status, both to team, and to management - Lead and mentor testers wherever needed, especially within the Mobile App and OS domain - Work and motivate within an Agile development model - Set and meet goals to improve any and all Mobile App testing processes - Collaborate with Development Team on continuously improving quality and time to market of Mobile Applications being developed - Coordinate tasks and communication across distributed teams - Ensure that team participates in respective application scrums and adhere to project management policies and project updates - Conduct occasional demonstrations and presentations to rest of technology organization on latest Mobile Application Test Automation tools, techniques, and processes. - Work with testing eCommerce mobile applications and understand eCommerce applications. *Required Skills/Experience:* - 5+ years test automation experience - 3+ years of mobile applications testing experience (iOS/Android) - Recent experience with testing mobile eCommerce applications - Must have test automation experience for mobile applications - Must have good understanding of iOS/Android OS features - Must have strong understanding of iOS/Android UI and messaging frameworks - Must have experience setting up the test automation framework for mobile applications - *Recent experience with Calabash QA testing tools for mobile testing required* - *Experience with Cucumber very helpful* - Previous experience in software or web application testing and SOAPUI preferred - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies *Remarks*: 2 openings for Mobile eCommerce QA Tester consultants in Ann Arbor, MI. We have placed consultants in this role before. 6-12 month contract position (candidates must at least consider contract to hire after 6 months, but I do not need a salary range). Interview process is typically on-site for local and if not local they will do phone and Skype interviews.
