They currently have a vendor that is doing the development for the pilot to the first sate, RI. They would really like to internalize their development process and make it more sustainable. The client is looking to bring on two developers for the last big push before the go live and then have them stay on project to help with a conversion project as well as to roll the new system out to other states. The ideal candidates will come from a web/data background, particularly a .Net, VB, ASP.net or C# background. The candidate needs to have a programming mindset to help with the work that is parceled out into a backlog. This backlog will have the resources working with the business users to gather requirements and implement the needs. The two resources should also have a good understanding of UI development, SQL for queries, and Property and Casualty Insurance background.
