We are Looking for *Position:: Hyperion Consultant with Finance Background* *Location:: Portland, OR* *Duration:: 1+ year* *Note: visa copy and id proof is required for the submission* *Responsibilities :-* *• *Maintenance and further advancement of the Hyperion Essbase based Planning and Reporting tools (GET Plan, GET FOH, Matrix, Volume Cube, Contribution Cube, etc), specifically: • Create Input Forms in the Hyperion Planning Web Front end for all Planning and Reporting cycles • Define and organize wide roll out of standard reports with the Hyperion Essbase Excel Add In • Maintain the Actual interfaces from SAP (cbFC) data warehouse to planning cubes (GET Plan, GET FOH and other) • Implement structural changes and apply to the database outline • Develop and maintain broad understanding of the business (Business Units and Functional Areas), in order to analyze and identify areas for process and Controlling method improvement. Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. • Ensure an updated and comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy that is aligned with the Finance department’s needs, covering from primary sources (SAP, IMS, etc.), databases (Financial Data Warehouse, etc) to Business Tools (Hyperion, Cognos, Tableau, dashboards) • Being in direct contact with other areas of finance, looking for synergies and a common strategy for BI in Finance. • Ensure unified database that can adjust to the changes and developments that come from IT (e.g Big Data). Coordinate controls that ensure the consistency of the databases. • Provide technical support to our existing tools. Maintain documentation and training to enable an understanding of the flow of data and the use of these tools. Evaluate technology trends to detect products to improve current tools or to develop new ones. • Responsible for definition, implementation and continuous improvement of Controlling, Planning and Reporting Methods, Processes, Standards and Best Practices Ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of accounting processes according to rules and regulations provided by law and internal guidelines for all relevant accounting transactions. • Develop and direct methods and systems to communicate, collect, summarize and report financial Planning data and Actual results of DTNA and Trucks NAFTA on a standard report and ad hoc basis. • SAP (cbFC template) data warehouse governance (Business Owner) and Finance interface to the IT Business System Owner of the data warehouse. • High degree of problem solving and critical thinking is essential. Pro-actively engage with stakeholders to assess existing and upcoming reporting/analytical needs and maintain regular communication to update stakeholders on progress made on these projects. • Troubleshoot problems team members encounter with Hyperion Planning, Business Objects, Excel, Tableau or SQL reports. *Basic Qualifications :-* *• *Finance or Information Systems with 6 years of Controlling or Project Management experience required. • At least 2 years of supervisory or project management experience required • Excellent oral and written communication skills required • Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office required • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Planning / Essbase or similar OLAP Multidimensional Database required (e.g. TM1 Cognos) • Experience with financial reporting, planning and BI tools (e.g., Hyperion, Cognos, SAP, Tableau, Qlik View). • Extensive familiarity with sophisticated databases, data warehousing and ETL systems and processes. • Experience building, developing, and administering a variety of databases. • Relevant skills/platforms would include VBA, Access, SQL server, Business Objects, etc. • SQL programming experience preferred • Requires strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in gathering, interpreting, and managing data through report generation and review. • Conceptual Data Modeling experience (e.g. creation of logical data models based on functional specifications) preferred • SAP/cbFC experience strongly preferred • Working knowledge of emerging (in-memory, columnar data, etc) solutions such as SAP’s HANA - preferred. *Thanks,* *Deepika Verma United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
