Responsibilities of this position include ETL (Extraction Transformation and Load) architecture, design and development, Unix scripting and scheduling. The role includes working closely with the project teams from requirement analysis through implementation. Implements ETL tools in support of short and long term business plans as well as application implications and software development requirements. Participates in the development of company business system architecture plans as well as cost and feasibility of system requests. This position works closely with vendors, project managers, business analysts, and clients. Stays up to date on industry standards in order to keep informed of new and current standards. Responsible for building configuration components like scripts/procedures for commonly encountered functionality requirements to establish baselines for estimations.
