*Please send Resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Here is the complete JD: Basic Qualifications: Senior Systems Administrator Portsmouth, NH 6+ month contact Job Title Description: Principal Performance Engineer In this position, you will apply a combined set of technical knowledge, skills, and tools, to profile, model, analyze, measure, tune, test, assess, and recommend a range of solutions (design, code, architecture), which improve performance of applications and supporting infrastructure to meet non-functional performance requirements and objectives. Responsibilities: Note: This is a Production facing role focused applications that are live and customer facing. Participates in Application Performance focused incident and problem management activities; supporting root cause determination via the timely and accurate presentation of resource and application performance metrics, both current and historic. Develops and maintains system capacity models to proactively plan and manage Performance. Benchmarks system performance; evaluates alternate hardware and software architectures. Works with aligned Business and IT teams to understand architecture, obtain application usage model data, data profiles, and test data. Thoroughly analyze performance test results and provide recommendations and sign-off to aligned application areas and management. Builds performance testing processes and procedures that can be used across the enterprise for effective testing of all applications running on varied technical platforms. Leverages a variety of tools and techniques to measure, profile, and optimize Performance in a service oriented, multi-tiered environment. Guides the development of Service Level Agreements, including the establishment of monitoring techniques to measure and validate system compliance to defined Performance SLA s. Works with client and IT management and staff to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master s degree in technical or business discipline with 5-10 years of proven related professional experience Strong understanding of performance management with proven ability to maintain uptime in a complex enterprise environment Solid experience required working with monitoring and performance tools such as CA Suites, New Relic, SCOM, Splunk and Introscope.
